When registering to attend the conference, you accept the following registration terms:

‘IAP2A’, ‘we‘, or ‘us‘ means the IAP2 Australasia
2.1 All prices displayed on the website are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST, unless otherwise indicated.
2.2 Discounted prices are only available to Members of IAP2A.
2.3 The description of the Conference, or of any of the events forming part of the Conference, and prices, may be subject to change or correction at any time without notice. Â Although we seek to ensure information is correct, we make no representation or warranty as to information being accurate or complete. Â If we discover an error, we will try to notify you as soon as possible and allow you to cancel your order and obtain a refund if desired.
2.4 By completing and submitting a Registration you warrant that:
•  you are capable of entering into a legally binding contract with IAP2A;
•  you are authoried and able to make a payment via the method you have chosen;
•  the payment information you have provided is correct, and
•  your purchase is not made for the purpose of commerical sale.
3.1Â Full payment must be received in order to be considered registered for the Conference. Payment will be taken prior to the Conference.
3.2 Payment should be made online with valid credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), or by electronic bank transfer. Any bank fees are to be covered by the remitter.
Cancellations, amendments and substitutions must be made in writing to The Association Specialists to iap2conference@theassociationspecialists.com.au.
The following terms will apply to any notice of cancellation of attendance at the Conference received by IAP2 Australasia:
•  Up to Friday 9 September 2022: full registration fee will be refunded minus an administration fee of $100
•  From Saturday 10 September 2022: no refund available, substitution only
•  Any cancellations from 10 September 2022 up to the Conference will be liable for the full cost. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after 10 September 2022.
We do understand that life happens. The organisers will endeavour to be as flexible and understanding as possible for attendees and are happy to look at cancellations on a case-by-case scenario. As an alternative to cancellation, you may substitute a replacement delegate at no extra charge.
The same conditions apply to tickets purchased for social functions.
You also have the option of transferring your registration to a virtual ticket.
If a registered delegate fails to attend the conference without providing prior notice, then a refund will not be provided.
Should you have difficulties in obtaining your visa and are not able to attend the Conference this cancellation policy still applies.
If accommodation payments are not received by Friday 26 August 2022 your room may be released back to the hotel and may be liable for full payment. The IAP2 Australasia Conference Managers does not take responsibility for accommodation if payment is not received by this date.

As times are still a little uncertain at the moment, we wanted to assure you that your Conference registration is protected in the event that the event is postponed or cancelled by IAP2A due to COVID-19 related government restrictions.
6.1 What happens to my registration if IAP2 cancels the conference due to government restrictions?
In the event of the cancellation of the Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance such as social functions and pre or post conference workshops will be cancelled, and amounts refunded in full.
6.2 What happens to my registration if the Conference shifts from in-person to fully virtual?
All attendees will automatically be transferred to a virtual registration, and any difference in fees will be refunded.
6.3 What happens to my registration if the Conference is postponed?
In the event of an event postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $100 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline of the revised conference dates. If unsure, contact us and we are happy to assist.
6.4 What happens to my registration if my state borders are closed to Victoria?
In the event that the state boarders are closed between 25 October and 29 October, from your departing city to Melbourne and you are therefore unable to attend the Conference, a virtual registration will be offered (if available) and any difference in fees will be refunded. For any accommodation bookings the Conference Secretariat will contact the hotel to put in a request for cancellation, however the cancellation fee will be at the discretion of each individual hotel.
6.5 Accommodation
In the event that the conference is cancelled or postponed due to a government-imposed lockdown in Victoria, your accommodation prepayment will be refunded.
(If you choose to no longer travel to the Conference, and there are no applicable government enforced restrictions, the applicable policy of the accommodation will apply.)
7.1 By registering for the Conference, you authorise IAP2A to record the Conference (which includes any questions or comments by any participant or audience member) in audio or visual format or both.
7.2 You also agree that IAP2A is the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property in that recording and that IAP2A may use the recording for any purpose it considers and agrees is appropriate, including publicity, education or other activities and may earn income for its own benefit, and you waive any moral rights you may have.
7.3Â IAP2A is not obliged to exercise the right to make any recording.
Sponsors may be given a list of all delegates (name and organisation details (not contact details)). Receipt of your registration form will signal your acceptance of inclusion on the delegate list.
By registering for the 2022 IAP2 Australasia National Conference you are hereby giving IAP2 AUSTRALASIA permission to photograph you, for use in our publications, website and any other promotional material associated with IAP2 AUSTRALASIA.
If you do not consent to your photograph/s being used, please contact the event organiser in writing on iap2conference@theassociationspecialists.com.au
Delegates and speakers are prohibited from photographing and / or recording the sessions for commercial use.
A list of delegates is also provided on the Conference app. You can elect to not have your name published on either list, when you register for the event.
By registering for the 2022 IAP2 Australasia National Conference you are hereby giving IAP2 Australia and New Zealand permission to photograph or video you, for use in our publications, website and any other promotional material associated with IAP2 Australia and New Zealand.
You can withdraw consent to your photograph/s or video image being used –  please contact the event organiser in writing on iap2conference@theassociationspecialists.com.au – prior to or during the event.
All details on the conference website are subject to change without notice.
IAP2 Australia and New Zealand reserves the right to make changes to the program, including presenters and sessions where necessary.
In the unlikely event that a presenter withdraws or cannot travel, IAP2 Australasia reserve the right to make the appropriate decision in the best interest of the conference – this may include not offering refunds, changes to the program and cancelling sessions.
9.1 Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration or 14 days prior to the conference. For registrations made within 14 days of 26 October 2022, payment is required at time of registration. Failure to pay outstanding registration fees 14 days prior to the event may result in cancellation of registration.
9.2 Loss and injury
All conference participants are advised to arrange their own insurance to cover all risks including (but not limited to) costs of travel, accommodation, conference fees, personal property, health and medical expenses, injury, death and all other risks.

The IAP2 Australasia Conference 2022 will be organised in accordance with local government and health and safety standards. The organisers and venue have developed a detailed set of enhanced measures which includes:

Exhibitors are required to provide hand sanitiser at their stand and ensure this is replenished throughout the event. Exhibitors are also required to ensure that their stand, in particular all surfaces, are cleaned regularly and kept tidy throughout the event.
Exhibitors should only engage in activities that allow attendees to physically distance. Demonstrations should be conducted in small groups according to distancing requirements at the time. Microphones will not be permitted at the stand.
