How can I access the member discount?

Current financial members of IAP2 can select the member rate when booking online at the conference registration site.
Registration lists will be cross referenced with our list of members.
The member discount is strictly available for IAP2 current members only.

My in-person pass has changed to a Virtual Pass, what do I do?

Check the inbox of the email address that was provided upon registration. You should have received an email from us notifying you of your options. If you are unable to locate this email, please contact our Professional Conference Organisers, The Assocation Specialists on +61 2 9431 8600 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday or email iap2conference@theassociationspecialists.com.au

Can I share my virtual pass login information with other members of my team?

We are afraid not. The system only allows one device to be logged in at any one time. If someone else logs in with your ID, the system will close your connection. If you wish to purchase additional tickets, please click here.
Sharing of registrations is also not permitted. One registration may not be utilised by several individuals. Single-Day Registration options are available for delegates who wish to attend a single day.

Can we pay upon receipt of a tax invoice?

Yes you can! We can issue a tax invoice for your accounts department if required. Simply select this payment option when you get to the payment page on their registration site.

How do I change my ticket or arrange a refund?

When will I receive joining instructions for the IAP2 Australasia Conference?

You will receive login details via email you provided upon registration on Thursday 21 October 2021, which will give you time to check your access and explore the platform. If you haven’t received an email by then, please check your junk folder. If you are experiencing issues, please contact our Professional Conference Organisers on +61 2 9431 8600.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?

Yes! With all of the sessions you will be able to see the speaker along with their presentation. During each of the sessions, the Chairperson will kick-off the session live with video and introduce the speakers. At the end of the presentations for that session, with time permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A with speakers, faciliated by the Chairperson.

How do I ask questions during the sessions?

We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the questions box in the virtual platform. Questions are submitted to the Chairperson and will be reviewed and placed into the queue for the Q&A segment at the end of each session.

What is replacing the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner?

We are bringing you new and exciting entertainment and interactive networking activities – you won’t want to miss out on! More information will be provided shortly, keep an eye out for it in your inbox.

Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the event?

We will publish all recordings in the virtual platform following the event. Please note, some speakers may not have allowed us to record their presentation.

What are the technical requirements for attending the IAP2 Australasian Conference?

You will need a device (desktop, tablet or mobile phone) that is connected to the Internet. Prior to the start of the Conference, you will receive an email providing detailed instructions on how to connect to the virtual conference platform.

Will there be multiple sessions going on at the same time?

Like an in-person event, some sessions are scheeduled to run concurrently. When the program has been released, you can review the program to see all the session topics and speakers. If you missed a session or want to attend two sessions that are being held at the same time, you will have access to recordings from those sessions where speakers have agreed to be recorded.

What if I miss a session?

How do I become a conference presenter?

The call for presentation abstracts has closed, however you may want to email info@iap2.org.au to be placed on our mailing list so you can be kept up to date when invitations to submit a presentation abstract opens for our next conference.

How long does the virtual event go for?

The virtual program will run for five half-days from approximatley 9:00am to 1:00pm each day.
